The Counter-Claim: UK gamers actively want to give Steam their money
We actually really like Steam. Please stop trying to give us £22, we just want to play our expansive backlogs in peace without getting dragged into a tribunal.

About The Counter-Claim
Are you a PC gamer? Have you used Steam and thought: "Wow, this works great and summer sales are awesome"?
On the 14th of April 2026, gamers realized they don't actually care about the massive class-action lawsuit against Valve, the creators of the Steam platform.
The "counter-claim", filed in the Court of Public Opinion, is on behalf of UK PC gamers who may have overpaid for games, but honestly don't mind because the Steam Workshop is cool and auto-updating games is very convenient.
If this parody is successful, you will be entirely left alone to continue buying games on sale that you will absolutely never install.
Legal Distinction
Unlike the real claim, we aren't trying to squeeze £22 out of a technicality for you. We're just a parody site pointing out that Steam is, you know, generally fine.
